Alissa Auto, the Nissan Motors dealer in Saudi Arabia, organized an in-house blood donation campaign.
Held at the company’s headquarters on the 9th and 10th of this month, the campaign was in cooperation with King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
“This campaign is part of the humanitarian role our company and its staff are committed to,” said Nasser Al-Qahtani, Chief Executive Officer of Alissa Auto. “We all feel an unshakable sense of commitment to those in need of medical assistance, and so we extended a helping hand to patients in hospitals that need blood reserves.”
Alissa Auto holds similar campaigns annually to supplement the efforts of hospitals nationwide to help them secure the blood reserves they need. Qahtani expressed his pride to be cooperating with such a monument of medicine as King Faisal Specialist Hospital, which enjoys an illustrious history in health care and medical services.
He added that the campaign is part of the company’s ongoing cooperation with the hospital’s blood bank, explaining that a special location had been set up to accommodate donors.
He stressed that the campaign is a continuation of many past ones to spread awareness among employees on the importance of giving and volunteer work.
